Audrey's visitor!

Today after I went pick up Audrey we played outside a little while in the front yard. Audrey had fun pushing her toy and crawling up and down the steps...she is def a climber and is not afraid of much! She spotted one of our neighbors walking her dogs and was yelling at them. Guess they heard her too because one of them got loose and came meet us. That made Audrey's day. She was so excited when it got closer. It was the cutest thing ever. Audrey misses Papa!

Can't wait til' tomorrow...We miss Papa. Or as Audrey would say DA DA DA!

And she's OFF!

Well, guys, as of yesterday Audrey has begun to walk! It's official she took long enough steps to consider it"walking". We were playing with her and she just let go of the coffee table and darted towards Papa! She was very shaky at first, but after we clapped and hoorayed for her, she realized the fun of it. She was so excited, that she would try to take off too fast. She is still not a pro and needs a little practice. She will definitely be running around at her 1st Birthday!!! Which is only few weeks away. Hard to believe...makes us sad our lil' baby is growing up :(

Audrey's First Christmas!!!

We hope everyone had a Very MERRY Christmas!! We sure did! Audrey made our holidays so much fun. It was such a joy to watch her have fun with all of our family at Christmas! We went to Glenn's Aunt Janice's for lunch on Christmas Eve, where Audrey got to open her first present! She loved being around all the cousins there and loves her presents! After lots of good food, we went home for a quick power nap, then off to Mimi and Happy's for round two! Where there were lots more gifts, food and family!!!! Then later that night after she fell asleep, Santa passed and left Audrey lots of cool things....Clothes, a toy purse (even came with a lipstick!!), a farm house, bath toys, lots of new bows, a cookies jar for when MOM makes cookies....and the best of all LEOPARD boots! She loved unwrapping all her gifts and was so excited. We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas! It was awesome!

Up North with Papa! City of Lights...

Audrey and Mom took a road trip to visit Papa for a few days in Natchitoches. Last night we went look at all the lights downtown and went look around at a few shops. It was pretty chilly though. Then we went eat at Mariner's, a nice restraunt on the river. The food was awesome and Audrey was very well behaved. Kinda loud, but good! Today we headed out early for a lil' Christmas shopping...she fell asleep on the way home. About to head out for a little more shopping at the shops down town. It is very pretty today! We are staying across the street from the House Steel Magnolias was filmed at. It is the view from the front porch here.Pretty neat!

Evie's night with Nanny & Audrey

Last weekend Cousin Evie came spend time with us. She got to play on Audrey's blanket and loved all her toys! Mom and Dad had an evening with friends, so she hung out at Nanny's! She is such a sweet baby and was very good. She laughed at me and Audrey the whole time. Audrey will definitely have to learn some rules on sharing as they get older, every toy Evie would pick up, Audrey wanted and would take it from her. Evie was such a good sport and was content with any toy. They are really sweet together, and we are so lucky to have them so close in age. They are gonna be best gal pals! It will be fun. Come back any time Evie!!!
